Inspired by the models of St. Francis of Assisi and St. Ignatius Loyola, we seek to make disciples everywhere. In addition to evangelization and serving those in need, missionary work is a part of the apostolic formation process for our novices and a tool of spiritual formation for those we minister to at home.
In partnership with Bishop Machebeuf High School, we have led students on mission trips to Peru to work with the Christian Life Movement and to the Philippines to work with Caritas of the Archdiocese of Palo and Missionaries of Charity Sisters.
Through Campus Ministry at the University of Denver, the Servants sponsored the first college mission trip to Mexico City. Additionally, Servants have led several college students on mission trips with the community to India and the Holy Land.
Our community seeks to serve at home as well as abroad. We have led mission trips for groups to New Orleans following Hurricane Katrina and to Galveston, Texas following Hurricane Ike.
In addition to leading mission trips for high school and college students, we partake in missionary work as a community. Our community has served the Body of Christ in India with the Missionaries of Charity, in the Holy Land to work with Caritas, in Honduras to work with the Missioners of Christ, and in Juarez Mexico and El Paso, TX to work with The Lord's Ranch.
